International School for Transparency

The primary audience, in terms of delegates, is public servants, mainly from the developing world and/or new democracies. It will be of value to those public authorities or agencies which are aspiring to implement an access to information regime, whether through a right to information law or otherwise.

We hope to grow an international cadre/alumni of champions of open governance, who will continue to remain in touch, supporting the work of others, and continuing to share experience and learning.

In time, the IST will develop programmes that are tailor-made for delegates from a particular country or region, or which are thematically-focused, for example, on budget transparency or the education sector
